Promoting tourism to lesser-known destinations, the Italian islands of the Mediterranean emerge from inside open scallop shells scattered across the sea.

The Aegadian (Egadi) Islands & Pelagie Islands (off Sicily); The Phlegraean Islands & Capri (Gulf of Naples); The Tuscan Archipelago (such as Elba or Giglio); and of course Sicily, displaying iconic regional symbols like ancient Greek Doric temple columns, citrus fruit groves, a horse, and the mythological god Vulcan/Etna.
