Commissioned by ENIT (the Italian Government Tourist Board) and the Ministero dell'Aeronautica (Ministry of Aeronautics) Borgoni creates an art deco design of a Savoia-Marchetti flying boat soaring over an illustrated cartographic map of Italy. The intricate red lines trace the active flight routes connecting major domestic cities (like Rome, Naples, Milan, Palermo, and Cagliari) and key international hubs of the era, including Barcelona, Monaco, Vienna, and Tripoli.
The "Anno VI" (Year 6), refers to the sixth year of the Fascist regime's calendar, which began counting from the March on Rome in October 1922.
