  • The original life-size bronze sculpture, Charioteer of Delphi,  was discovered in 1896 at the sanctuary of Apollo in Delphi. It was created to commemorate a victory in a chariot race during the Pythian Games. The figure is shown wearing a chiton, the traditional tunic worn by chariot.

On the back of the brochure is a neck-amphora, a classic style of ancient Greek pottery, used to hold olive oil, wine, milk, or grain. Illustrated with black-figure painting, where figures are painted in dark silhouettes onto the red clay body, commonly depicting mythological scenes or everyday rituals.
