  • At the vaccination clinic, I sought an explanation.
I asked the nurse to tell me, "What is immunization?"
"Good question," she responded and looked me run the eye.
"The answer's rather simple. Listen carefully, I'll try.
"A baby when first born, recieved protection from his mother.
That weakens as it grows. Therefore, we have to find some other.
"So doctors figure out a way for germs to be vaccines
That are medically tested -safe for kids, adults, and teens.
"As shots and drops, a vaccine is absorbed inside the body.
Which reacts to the germs it carries by creating 'antibodies.'
"Antibodies immunize, making sure that you're protected.
When disease germs come acalling, they won't let you be affected."
Our conversation ended. She had one more thing to say.
"Immunizations are important. Go spread the news today”
